Platform preview & publishing

See how your post looks on each connected platform, tailor captions/hashtags/CTA and the crop per platform, then publish or schedule everywhere in one click. Save recipes as templates.

Before a post goes out, VibeDay shows you exactly how it will look on each platform you've connected — and lets you tune it per platform, then publish everywhere in one click. The preview appears wherever you create or edit a post: in AI Studio (once a draft exists), in the video and image editors, on the compose screen for uploads, and on the generation detail page.

The platform preview

The Platform preview card renders your post inside a recognizable mock-up of each platform's screen — an Instagram Reel or feed post, a TikTok, a Facebook feed post, or a YouTube Short — using the right aspect ratio, the platform's caption-truncation point (the "… more" cut-off), and the on-screen furniture (profile row, like/comment/share rail, caption, bottom nav).

  • Switch platforms with the tabs at the top. You only see a live, selectable preview for platforms you've connected — others appear greyed out with a note explaining you need to connect them first (Settings → Connections). This keeps the preview honest: it shows what will actually publish.
  • Safe zones — tick the Safe zones box to shade the areas each app's buttons and captions cover. Keep faces and important text out of the shaded regions so nothing gets hidden behind platform UI.
  • The preview is a close approximation built by VibeDay — it isn't the real app screen, and the exact crop is applied when you publish.

Per-platform captions, hashtags, and call-to-action

By default one caption, hashtag set, and call-to-action apply to every platform. When you want to tailor them:

  • In the editor, each caption already has its own field per platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, plus an optional YouTube title + description).
  • Hashtags and call-to-action have a "Customize per platform" toggle. Off = one shared value. On = a per-platform grid where any field you leave blank simply falls back to the shared value. So you might add #fyp only on TikTok, or a different CTA on Facebook, while everything else stays shared.

Whatever you set is exactly what the preview shows and exactly what publishes — they're driven by the same logic.

Reframing — drag to choose the crop

When the same video or image is adapted to a platform's shape (e.g. a wide clip cropped to a 9:16 Reel), VibeDay crops to the center by default. To choose a better focal point:

  • Drag the media inside the preview frame to reposition it. A face or product stays in view instead of being cropped out.
  • Framing is set per aspect ratio, so a 9:16 adjustment applies to every 9:16 destination (Reel, TikTok, Short) at once — one decision, consistent everywhere.
  • Recenter resets it. The framing you see in the preview is the framing that gets rendered and published.

One-click publish everywhere

Once the post looks right, the preview ends with a Publish or schedule button — the launchpad for publishing. It takes you to the publish step where you pick your platforms and either publish now or schedule for later. One click sends the correctly-formatted, per-platform version of your post to every account you select. (Each platform gets its own aspect-correct render automatically — you don't export anything by hand.)

Editing an approved post

Approving a post locks it so what you reviewed is what goes out. If you need to change an approved but not-yet-published post, use Edit post to revert it to a draft, make your changes, and re-approve. If the post already has scheduled times, VibeDay asks before cancelling them. A post that has already published to any platform can't be edited — duplicate it to make a new version.

Templates — save a recipe, reuse it

When you land on a post structure you like, click Save as template to store its recipe — the per-platform captions, hashtags, call-to-action, and framing. On a future draft, click Apply on a saved template to drop that whole recipe in at once, then tweak from there. It's the fast way to keep a recurring series consistent (same hashtag set, same CTA, same framing) without rebuilding it each time. Applying a template overwrites the draft's current content, so apply before you fine-tune.
